Open Challenges are a great way to join a life changing challenge and raise sponsorship for your favourite charity, whether it is a charity we already work with (view all our charities) or another charity or organisation you wish to support.

Payment Methods for joining an Open Challenge
Joining an Open Challenge is easy. There are two payment options:
Fundraising option
To register you need to pay a non-refundable registration deposit of £250. Once you have decided and contacted the charity whom you wish to support, they will need to set you a minimum sponsorship target. This sponsorship level will need to be with the charity at least 8 weeks before departure.
8 weeks before the trek departs, we will invoice your chosen charity for your expedition costs. The cost of your airport tax will need to be paid by you, so we will invoice you for this.
OR
Payment + fundraising option
To register you need to pay a non-refundable registration deposit of £250. All you then need to do is pay for the costs of the expedition yourself directly to The Ultimate Travel Company. We will invoice you 8 weeks before the trip departs with the final tour costs plus airport taxes.
You can then simply choose any charity you wish to support and endeavour to raise as much sponsorship as possible for them. You should contact your chosen charity to let them know you are supporting them. Most charities will be able to issue you with sponsorship forms and other fundraising ideas, but we will also provide you with a fundraising pack.
